Getting to the Decider is a vital skill a SaaS Sales Rep needs to have in their arsenal:
Involve the Decider early in the decision process
Are you a Sales Rep who takes the Champion's word for granted? If so, I urge you not to. You need to ask for the Decider early, ideally after you have completed the initial demo with your set of Champions within the company. It's your responsibility to bring the Decider up to speed on what has been discussed.

The Battle Card is meant for quick use in sales conversations. Print it out, keep it handy, and use the Leading Question to get access to the Decider. If the Champion denies access, follow the questions from left to right to dig deeper. Make it a rule to ask for the Decider at least four times. Stay persistent.
